I live in Veliky Novgorod. It is a city in the North-Western Federal district on the Volkhov river with a population of about 225 thousand people.

Veliky Novgorod has two theaters and several museums. In my opinion, the most interesting museum of our city is the Center of musical antiquities of V. I. Povetkin.
On the streets of the city one can see many sculptures and monuments. There are both ancient and modern ones among them. I think the most famous monument of Veliky Novgorod is a Monument to the Millennium of Russia.
Our city is green. The Novgorod Kremlin is surrounded by a well maintained park. One can take a walk and play sport in the Yunost park or in the 30 years of October park.
The basis of the city's economy is the chemical industry. There are also enterprises of the food industry, paper production and printing businesses.
In General, our city is quiet and cozy. There are many interesting places, and the city infrastructure is relatively good.

Великий Новгород - древний город с богатой историей. Здесь много старинных храмов и церквей. Благодаря архитектурным достопримечательностям город является туристическим центром.
В Великом Новгороде работают два театра и несколько музеев. На мой взгляд, самый интересный музей нашего города - это Центр музыкальных древностей В.И. Поветкина.
На улицах города можно увидеть много скульптур и памятников. Среди них есть как древние, так и современные. Думаю, самый известный памятник Великого Новгорода - это Памятник тысячелетию России.
Наш город достаточно зеленый. Новгородский кремль окружен благоустроенным парком. Можно погулять и заняться спортом на свежем воздухе в парке Юность или в парке 30 лет Октября.
Основа экономики города - химическая промышленность. Есть также предприятия пищевой, целлюлозно-бумажной и полиграфической промышленности.
В целом, наш город тихий и уютный. Здесь много интересных мест и достаточно хорошая инфраструктура.
