Ufa is the capital city of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The city is located at the confluence of the Belaya and Ufa rivers.
Ufa is a big and old city with population over 1 million.
The city is very beautiful. There are a lot of mosques and churches here. The visit card of the city is the fountain “Seven girls” with amazing night illumination.
Two Ferris wheels were built in Ufa over the past few years: 48 meter “Seventh heaven” and 60 meter “Iremel”. One can enjoy great views of the city and surrounding forests.
There are monuments to famous people in every city. But in our city there is also a monument to a janitor. I like it because it reminds people that every useful job deserves respect, that you don’t have to be famous to do good.
There are many theaters and museums in Ufa. Every tourist can find something interesting for him. We even have underground caves and lemonarium.
A lot of famous people were born in our city. One of them is a well-known Russian singer Zemfira.
Our city is important economic center. Many urban enterprises engaged in oil refining, chemistry, and mechanical engineering reside here.
And of course there are universities and institutes here. So our city is a center of science and education.
That is why I think that Ufa is a place worth visiting for tourists and a good place to live.
Уфа является столицей Республики Башкортостан. Город расположен в месте слияния рек Белая и Уфа.
Уфа - большой и Старый город с населением свыше 1 млн. человек.
Город очень красивый. Здесь много мечетей и церквей. Визитной карточкой города является фонтан “Семь девушек” с изумительной ночной подсветкой.
За последние несколько лет в Уфе было построено два колеса обозрения: 48-метровое “Седьмое небо” и 60-метровое “Иремель”. Оттуда можно любоваться великолепным видом на город и окружающие леса.
В каждом городе есть памятники известным людям. Но в нашем городе есть и памятник дворнику. Мне нравится этот памятник, потому что он напоминает людям, что любая полезная работа заслуживает уважения, что не нужно быть знаменитым, чтобы делать добро.
В Уфе много театров и музеев. Каждый турист может найти для себя что-то интересное. У нас даже есть подземные пещеры и лимонарий.
В нашем городе родилось много известных людей. Одна из них - известная российская певица Земфира.
Наш город - важный экономический центр. Здесь расположено много предприятий, занимающиеся нефтепереработкой, химией, машиностроением.
И конечно, здесь есть университеты и институты. Так что наш город-центр науки и образования.
Именно поэтому я считаю, что Уфа - это место, которое стоит посетить туристам и хорошее место для проживания.
