I live in Orsk. It is an industrial city in the Orenburg region with a population of about 225 thousand people.
One of the main attractions of the city is the Pushkin Drama Theater. It is located in a large modern building. There is a beautiful fountain with night lighting on the square in front of the theater. Both local artists and troupes from other cities perform in the theater.
In the Museum of Local Lore one can learn a lot about the history of our region, look at old household items and archaeological finds.
One can see a variety of monuments on the streets of Orsk. I especially like the monument to the Starogorodsky pie. This is a sculpture of an elderly, good-natured woman selling pies.
Another attraction of the city is the "Colonel" mountain. There is a deposit of multi-colored Jasper.
My favorite place in the city is the Park of culture and recreation. There are children's rides, a Ferris wheel, a cafe, a tennis school and other entertainment. There are several other parks in Orsk: North park, Builders' park, and Machine Builders' park.
Overall, I like my native city. However, the environmental situation raises serious concerns.

Одной из главных достопримечательностей города является драматический театр имени А. С. Пушкина. Он расположен в большом современном здании. На площади перед театром есть красивый фонтан с ночной подсветкой. В театре выступают как местные артисты, так и труппы из других городов.
В Краеведческом музее можно узнать много интересного об истории нашего края, посмотреть на старинные предметы быта и археологические находки.
На улицах Орска можно увидеть разнообразные памятники. Мне больше всего нравится памятник Старогородскому пирожку. Это скульптура пожилой добродушной женщины, торгующей пирожками.
Еще одной достопримечательностью города является гора «Полковник». Там находится месторождение разноцветной яшмы.
Мое любимое место в городе - это Парк культуры и отдыха. Там есть детские аттракционы, колесо обозрения, кафе, школа тенниса и другие развлечения. В Орске есть еще несколько парков: Северный, Парк Строителей и Парк Машиностроителей.
В целом, мне нравится мой родной город. Однако экологическая обстановка вызывает серьезные опасения.
