I live in Kovrov. It is a city in the Vladimir region on the Bank of the Klyazma river with a population of about 135 thousand people.
Our city is an industrial center. One of the largest enterprises is the Degtyarev Plant.
There are many attractions in our city. I think that the most beautiful building is the Transfiguration Cathedral.
The most unusual Museum of Kovrov is the Museum of hares. It is located in the family reading library. One can look at toy hares made of different materials. They say that there used to be many hares in the surrounding territory. Therefore, these animals are depicted on the emblem of our city.
Kovrov is a green city. There are places for family weekend, such as the Degtyarev Park. The Park has sports grounds and entertainment for children.
Our city has an excellent sports infrastructure. There are sports complexes, swimming pools, ice rinks and even areas for motorcycle sports.
I love my native city very much.
Я живу в Коврове. Это город во Владимирской области на берегу реки Клязьмы с населением около 135 тысяч человек.
Наш город является промышленным центром. Одно из крупнейших предприятий - Завод имени Дегтярева.
В нашем городе много достопримечательностей. Я думаю, что самое красивое здание - это Спасо-Преображенский собор.
Самый необычный музей Коврова - это Музей зайцев. Он находится в библиотеке семейного чтения. Там можно посмотреть на игрушечных зайцев, сделанных из разных материалов. Говорят, что в окрестностях города раньше водилось много зайцев. Поэтому именно эти животные изображены на гербе нашего города.
Ковров - зеленый город. Здесь есть места для семейного отдыха, например, Парк имени Дегтярева. В парке есть спортивные площадки и развлечения для детей.
В нашем городе отличная спортивная инфраструктура. Есть спорткомплексы, бассейны, катки и даже площадки для мотоциклетного спорта.
Я очень люблю свой родной город.
