I live in Chapaevsk. It is a town in the Samara region on the Chapaevka river with a population of about 70 thousand people.
Our town is quiet, cozy and green. My favorite place in the town is the well-maintained Chapaev Park. There is a beautiful fountain with night lighting in this park.
The main attraction of the town is the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh. In the Local Lore Museum, one can learn a lot about the history of the town.
One can see monuments and sculptures on the streets of the town. I especially like the sculptural composition "Family of lions" near the registry office building.
There are industrial enterprises in Chapaevsk, including chemical plants.
Among the sports facilities, I would particularly mention the large Luch sports complex.
I love my hometown.
Я живу в Чапаевске. Это город в Самарской области на реке Чапаевка с населением около 70 тысяч человек.
Наш город тихий, уютный и достаточно зеленый. Мое любимое место в городе - это благоустроенный парк имени Чапаева. Там есть красивый фонтан с ночной подсветкой.
Главная достопримечательность города - это Храм Сергия Радонежского. В Краеведческом музее можно узнать много интересного об истории города.
На улицах города можно увидеть памятники и скульптуры. Мне особенно нравится скульптурная композиция «Семья Львов» около здания ЗАГС.
В Чапаевске есть промышленные предприятия в том числе химические заводы.
Среди спортивных объектов стоит особо отметить большой спорткомплекс Луч.
Я люблю свой родной город.
