My hometown is Biysk. It is located in the Altai Krai on the Biya river. The population of Biysk is about 200 thousand.
The town is an important scientific and industrial center of the region. There are enterprises of the defense and pharmaceutical industries, including the well-known Evalar company.
Our town is rather quiet and cozy. In the center of the town one can see beautiful historical buildings. There are also many temples and churches in Biysk. Our city is quite green. People enjoy picturesque views from the banks of the Biya river. One of my favorite places is the city garden.
Among the interesting sights, I would mention the Rodina Planetarium. Interesting excursions are held there. The Biysk City Drama Theater is also worth visiting.
There are enlightening museums in our town, for example, the Biysk Local Lore Museum named after V. V. Bianki, the Museum of Clocks and the Museum of the Chui tract.
I like the atmosphere of my hometown.
Мой родной город - Бийск. Он расположен в Алтайском крае на реке Бия. Население Бийска - около 200 тысяч человек.
Город является важным научным и промышленным центром региона. Здесь находятся предприятия оборонной и фармацевтической промышленности, в частности широко известная компания Эвалар.
Наш город достаточно тихий и уютный. В центре можно увидеть красивые исторические здания. Также в Бийске много храмов и церквей. Наш город достаточно зеленый. С берегов реки Бии открываются живописные виды. Одно из моих любимых мест - городской сад.
Среди достопримечательностей города я бы отметил планетарий Родина. Там проводятся интересные экскурсии. Также стоит посетить Бийский городской драматический театр.
В нашем городе есть познавательные музеи, например, Бийский краеведческий музей имени В. В. Бианки, музей Часов, музей Чуйского тракта.
Мне нравится атмосфера моего родного города.
