I live in Yelabuga. It is a town in Tatarstan on the bank of the Kama river with a population of about 74 thousand people.
Yelabuga is an ancient and beautiful town. There are many attractions here. Walking around the old part of the town, one can feel the atmosphere of the 19th century. Many buildings are architectural monuments.
The famous Russian artist Ivan Shishkin was born in Yelabuga. Now the house where he lived is a Museum. There is also Marina Tsvetaeva memorial house and museum in Yelabuga.
One can get acquainted with the history of health care development in the Museum of county medicine named after V. M. Bekhterev.
Tourists should also visit Chertovo Gorodishche. It is an ancient fortress on a high bank. One can enjoy picturesque views there.
There are industrial enterprises in our city. One of the largest enterprises is the ELAZ automobile plant.
Yelabuga is a green town. There are such beautiful parks as Shishkin Ponds and Alexander garden. There are many squares and playgrounds.
I love my hometown very much.
Я живу в Елабуге. Это город в Татарстане на берегу реки Камы с населением около 74 тысяч человек.
Елабуга - древний и красивый город. Здесь много достопримечательностей. Гуляя по старой части города можно погрузиться в атмосферу 19го века. Многие здания является памятниками архитектуры.
Известный русский художник Иван Иванович Шишкин родился в Елабуге. Сейчас дом, в котором он жил, является музеем. Также в Елабуге есть мемориальный дом и музей Марины Цветаевой.
В Музее уездной медицины им. В. М. Бехтерева можно познакомиться с историей развития здравоохранения.
Туристом также стоит посетить Чертово Городище. Это древняя крепость на высоком берегу. Оттуда открываются живописные виды.
В нашем городе есть и промышленные предприятия. Одно из крупных предприятий - автомобильный завод ЕлАз.
Елабуга - зеленый город. Здесь есть такие прекрасные парки как Шишкинские Пруды и Александровский сад. Много скверов и детских площадок.
Я очень люблю свой родной город.
