I live in Balashikha. It is one of the largest cities in the Moscow region with a population of more than half a million people.
Our city is growing rapidly. New apartment complexes are being built. Unfortunately, this leads to a reduction of green areas and water protection zones. Residents are also seriously concerned about the development of territories in the immediate vicinity of the underground oil pipeline.
There are large industrial enterprises in Balashikha. Automobile cranes and manipulators, components for the aviation industry and many other products are produced here. However, many residents of Balashikha work in Moscow.
As for attractions, I would mention the art gallery of the city district. Exhibitions of world-famous artists are held there. There are many temples and churches in Balashikha. A Small Puppet Theater is also worth visiting.
My favorite place in the city is the City Park of culture and recreation. There is everything to spend a great time with the whole family: bicycle rental, playgrounds and sports grounds, cozy cafes.
In general, I like my native city. However, the constant increase in population density raises some concerns.
Я живу в Балашихе. Это один из крупнейших городов Московской области с населением более полумиллиона человек.
Наш город активно развивается. Строятся новые жилые комплексы. К сожалению, это приводит к сокращению лесопарковых и водоохранных зон. Также серьезные опасения жителей вызывает застройка территорий в непосредственной близости от подземного нефтепровода.
В Балашихе есть крупные промышленные предприятия. Здесь производят автомобильные краны и манипуляторы, комплектующие для авиационной промышленности и многое другое. Тем не менее, многие жители Балашихи работают в Москве.
Что касается достопримечательностей, стоит отметить картинную галерею городского округа. Там бывают выставки всемирно известных художников. В Балашихе много храмов и церквей. Также стоит посетить Маленький Театр Кукол.
Мое любимое место в городе - Городской парк культуры и отдыха. Там есть всё для того, чтобы отлично провести время всей семьей: прокат велосипедов, детские и спортивные площадки, уютные кафе.
В целом мне нравится мой родной город. Однако постоянное повышение плотности населения вызывает некоторые опасения.
